INTERNATIONAL TOURING SHOW DEEP IN DEVELOPMENT

Lavish have been developing a large hybrid touring performance art project for the past few years. Written by Ami Cadillac the project brings together a host of leading International artists, creatives & designers from the film, music, art & performance Worlds and is headed by Ami & executive Michael O’Sullivan (Paramount Pictures).
Now that the busy Summer season is over, this unique & exciting collaborative project will be gathering momentum over the next few months….so look for further news at the beginning of 2017!!!

THE PAMPER STREET COLLECTIVE SPREADS CHIC LOVE AND STYLISH JOY ACROSS THE UK!

Lavish have just completed a UK tour of their immersive art installation work ‘PAMPER STREET’.
Featured at LATITUDE, both V FESTIVALS, CREAMFIELDS & also ELECTRIC PICNIC this year, artists featured as a part of the PAMPER STREET COLLECTIVE included TROPICAL BIRD, CHARLIE O’TANEY, SARA’S PARLOUR, PATRICK (THE NEW YORK BARBER), JOHN COSS, ACADEMY BARBERS, PRETTY ME, POLISHED INKA, THE BEARD GURU, BLACK EYE, YUCEL, BARBER FOX & BARBER BLUE.
Free to the public, Pamper Street is a play on 'pampering shops' seen Worldwide. Not only inspired by the decorative salons themselves but also the sharing of stories and the uplifting experiences that the customer enjoys inside these small and intimate hand painted emporiums.

ADDING A SPLASH OF ART TO V

Lavish were invited for the first time, to exhibit some Art Installations at both V Festivals this year.
The audience enjoyed the series of eye catching works which included large pieces by artists Andy Rawlings & Luke Egan as well as an ingenious & elegant solar powered installation featuring spinning umbrella flowers titled ‘Parasol Carousel'.
Interactive pieces included piece that is managed by Lavish, the only authentic family run Wall of Death in Europe which thrilled & delighted the V North crowds.
As with Download & EDC, Lavish are currently sourcing new work for 2017 so if you have created a piece you feel would enhance any of these events please do get in touch!!

LATITUDE FESTIVAL – THE BEST YET!!

Highlights of this years Lavish program included a successful new collaboration with BBC INTRODUCING at the LAVISH LOUNGE and The INSTANT SCORECHESTRA at the BIG SCREEN featuring Laura Moody, Sarah Nicolls & Orphy Robinson. Conceived by Late Junction (BBC R3) presenter Max this project was a collaboration between the Instant Orchestra, Oxford Contemporary Music & Lavish & was created for the opening of
this years Latitude Festival.
The BIG SCREEN also staged exciting performances by punk icons GLEN MATLOCK (Sex Pistols), DON LETTS (Radio 6) & JET LETTS.
The MUSEUM OF MEMORY, CURIOSITY & CORNELL’S DREAM was a dramatic hybrid three part sound, performance and art-based project created by Ami Cadillac which journeyed in to what inspires and shapes us. The MUSEUM OF MEMORY featured the recorded memories of artists such DON LETTS, MAX REINHARDT, DANNY POCKETS, SARAH NICOLLS, LOUISE COLBOURNE, DOM JONES, STEPHEN MALLINDER, PAUL BURGESS & BRIAN STEPHENS. The performance art piece THE MUSEUM OF CURIOSITY featured an installation designed by ROBERT HAYNES featuring performances by actors wearing only the striking animal masks of CASSIE RENDEL. CORNELL’S DREAM the final part of the triptych, featured performances by BARNABY GIBBONS, IONE HAYNES & LINDZY NAKOM, scenic design by MIMI BANKS, sculptures by artist MATTHEW SANDERSON, music by DOM JONES, piano performed by GABRIEL BENN, costumes by WENDY OLVER & Lighting Design by STUART WOOD.

ELECTRIC DAISY CARNIVAL DIRECT FROM VEGAS

For the second year running, this June Lavish presented a series of high impact Art Installations & performances as a part of the impressive one day UK event staged at Milton Keynes by American artists ‘Insomniac’ at their Electric Daisy Carnival.
Works featured included an exciting collaboration with artist Stuart Langley & 25 local young choreographed dancers in a seemingly spontaneous, large scale dance piece conceived by Ami & Stuart in the form of an illuminated & poignant play on the Lancashire based artist Lowry’s work ‘stick men’.
